When we bought Bare Essentials Natural Market in 1988, we were the only store in town that carried organic foods, cruelty-free body care products and high quality supplements. This stuff was ‘weird’ two decades ago, and we were charting a course many people didn’t understand. What a difference time makes! It seems that natural food stores like ours started a health revolution. And what we lack in size compared to the supermarkets that now carry natural and organic products, we more than make up for in the size of our heart.
